They do this Minnesota all the time. We had a Sharia 101 event that was almost shut down and the speaker was punished.
MINNESOTANS FOR FREEDOM 
Many American universities treat uncomfortable subjects like this, like Golden West. I remember reading in The Forum, Fargo, ND, 2-3 years ago when Usama Dakdok, Egyptian Coptic Christian was to speak at Grand Forks, ND, which is a ways from me. Didn’t know about it. Anyway, Dakdok was met where he was to speak by a ND leftist group and at least one member of the UND MSA shouting “Hate speech!”
Did Dakdok get to speak? I don’t know. The event was barely covered. Unfortunately, even in so-called RED state ND this kind of attitude presents itself to anyone criticizing islam.
